I think their is something wroung, I am in the noob island but i cant get the weapons badge because the flobs are not in the pit, I can here them, i just cant see them? whats wroung?

Well sga not sure why you can't hear anything but the keys are mappable in-game - hit the esc key then click options then configuration

can u hear gunshots or jsut not like game music?

the "new" client file is missing sounds, lol, no music/gunshots anything... so possibly that stuff should be added, ive got a full intact sound file i can zip it up and give it here, but it would be best to just include it in the install file if possible.

well im saving 25 bucks for Toa Whenua with his spiked armor and items and my peroxi lady acc so another 25 bucks

Little Guide: Extract contents into new folder. Run ENDLESS.exe

For install directory, choose the directory you created on the desktop, be sure add to a trailing slash to the file path

EX: C:\Endless Ages\

For account info: Use the last username/password combo you had for EA Reborn. If you dont remember the account name, send me a pm and I can get it for you. If you lost your password too I will be releasing a lost password page soon.

If you do not have an account, I'll be setting up a register page asap.

I just started playing. Glad to see something of the EA universe still alive. =D

I have a problem with my game, iv played it before on this computer so i know it works but now it doesnt.
the game doesnt have a World and when i try to log in it just closes.
does any1 know the problem if so please help because i really
want to play this game again.

Ummmmmm yea i dont know if im doing something wrong but everytime i hit ENDLESS it gets stuck at checking for updates... i dont know why this is happening >_<

Got it to install correcting i think, now my issue is wen i put my account info in the game screen goes black?

check the log file ClientLog.txt and see if it tills u anything

check the ClientLog.txt file and see if it gives U any errors and let us know

SamLJaxxon: Try tbarlow's advice. I suspect incorrect username/password combination - ClientLog.txt will tell you if this is the case.
jarmenkell: Did you play during Endless Ages Reborn? If not, your account will not be active. You need a game account (different from forum account) to log into the game. You can through this by following the link in the Launcher window.

i cant find the ClinentLog.txt maby it is because im missing that file.
do u think if u send me that file through msn or something like that it would work?

Sam, check your login on the Account Management page in the launcher instead of in game. If you can login there you know its a client problem rather then an account problem.

Welp i successfully logged onto the account management , i even have 5 credits left =P haha.
But anyway this means that i am putting in the right account information, but i am encountering a problem after entering it.
BTW im running Windows 7 Ultimate, idk if that could be a problem? Also does it matter whether i put depth at 16 or 32?

Win 7 works fine with EA I run it as well and the Depth should not matter eather U would say try removeing everything that has to do with EA and try installing it agian but U had prob the first time so not sure if that would be a good idah or not?

I dont believe the firewall or router are screwing with it.
I do believe that there could be a problem with the install directory. So, i guess i will have to delete everything and reinstall.
But before i reinstall id like to get some things straight, when i download the client and open it via winrar, should i extract it? if so where to?
After extracting/not extracting when i run ENDLESS i should set the directory to C:\Endless Ages\ ? I have previously put directory as C:\Program Files\Endless Ages\ and that too did not work.

Delete everything and only download the "ea-setup.sfx.exe" file and install it to the default directory. It will download everything you need into the correct directory (or whatever directory you choose)

I have mine on my desktop for development reasons so I am unsure if User Account Control could be messing with your downloads. Try doing it on your desktop first.

That "file:0" means that Static.TXB cannot be found.. So there's something wrong with your installation directories.
When you open up your Endless Ages folder, you should see four subfolders inside. If you do not see these four, and instead, have FOUR Endless Ages folders, named Endless AgesGamefiles, Endless AgesMaps Models, etc., it means you forgot to put a backslash at the end of your installation path during your install. Also, check to see that the installation path in your registry matches your true installation path. You can find this key under HKLM > SOFTWARE > ENDLESS_AGESR. The value will be called "INSTALL_PATH".

You can also try downloading Static.TXB from http://filefront.com/user/blegh2joo and putting it into your GameFiles folder, if all of the above has been done and it still gives this error.

Im gonna try again right now.
And blegh i figured that out last time and still couldnt get it to work, the static file was still in rar in the cache folder and wouldnt extract correctly, so i downloaded yours and put in the cache folder and still had no success. Also AJ told me about the install_path in the registry the first time i downloaded it. The static.txb is the problem no doubt.

Static.TXB file is apparently damaged or in an unknown format so im going to delete it and replace it with the one from filefront.

Wow i cannot catch a break. Replaced the static.txb and went through a few verifying things for a few minutes (blue loading bar and black background) and then wen it was done it was still just black.
Although ive made some progress the Clientlog still reads this:

That file goes inside your Gamefiles folder

not cache

Snow: the downloader will download the .CAB into your CACHE folder, where it will then extract the .TXB and .EXG inside your GameFiles folder - or at least, that is what it seems to do. When downloading the new maps, it decided to put it in my CACHE folder as well. However, the EXG and TXB files reside in my \GameFiles\

Try replacing the files in your C:\Program Files\Endless Ages\ folder with the files inside here (instructions are inside):

You can ignore the instructions regarding installation paths, since it appears we both use C:\Program Files\Endless Ages\.
Not sure if this even does anything, but it's worth a shot.

Alright well, it seems that there is a STATIC.TXB in my cache and a Static.TXB in my gamefiles folder too. Should i get rid of one?
