So looks like I missed all the excitement the last week or two with the Open Beta and new zones opening up. I was planning on releasing an update to MonsterBytes when the Beta opened to everyone, but now that there are new zones I am going to hold off until I map out the new stuff. I suppose if there is a great outcry I can release what I have now, as I have finally gathered all the pictures I needed (though if the AK mobs are back, I will need to get those... toriks and stuff). Also I have added HP to all the mobs' pages. So as soon as the servers get back online I will begin the documentation process.

Also I am looking into having the program auto-download some of the info files so users don't have to do a complete install just to get new mob locations, quests, etc. Kinda like the way the launcher updates. I will see, I don't have a server to host large files, but my website offers like 10 MB of space that could store the smaller info files that MonsterBytes uses. Unfortunately I will still have to do complete installs for the pictures, and the executable file itself. Maybe one day I will get more server space, but for now it is what it is.

So with the forums back up and running, I have restarted my development of the EA MonsterBytes application. Obviously we will have to wait until the game is back up and running to see what has changed. But I will get an update out as soon as I make note of any changes.

Currently though, EA MonsterBytes still has plenty of information, plus pretty pictures of mobs, guns, and armor :D so if you haven't already you should download it.

In the meantime I have updated the website to point to my new private message address, and blog, since the addresses changed with the new forums. I also re-upped the mediafire download option, as it was deleted because of inactivity.

Check it out:
