Thread: The Direction We're Headed.(Questionnaire)

Ive decided to Draft a Quick Questionnaire on the Direction we (as a community) want to take this game.
I feel that we're at somewhat of a stalled situation, Everyone wants the game to get better, But no one (including the Dev's) know what to do. This may not be the right option, but its a start to at least get everyone on the same page.

I'll tally the results after one week, PLEASE this is NOT a Debate topic, Answer the Questions if you choose to, and move on, Make a new thread if you want to debate certain parts.

1. The Biggest problem this game has currently is:

C) Mobs not Up Consistently

2. If I Could have one thing fixed in this game By the end of January it would be:
A) Mobs (Up most of the time, No more loosing mobs through the floor, ect.)

E) As much as I freaking can. - between work, school, sleep, LIFE!

E) Lets keep it simple, a working in game map that at least showed cities, land masses, NPCs and even possibly quest helper - which at least should show where the NPC you need to talk to is... not so much where the objectives are.

E) All of the above options I consider to be the most important aspects, cant really play the game with out either. We need the bugs fixed so we can do those things such as Rare Drops.

I agree with Impact - these two are pretty much the same problem, with the mobs being a subcategory of the other. I'd say one of the most important bugs to fix at the moment would be the mobs. Not being able to get out of NewbieZone due to lack of mobs is pretty much a game breaker.

2. If I could have one thing fixed in this game by the end of January, it would be:
A) Mobs
Although random client crashes are quite annoying, and very buggy, it is bearable. Simply restart the client. Being able to log in but not able to do anything due to lack of mobs - now that's a bigger problem. Of the choices, I'd go with A. Server stability seems to be a problem too.

3. The most important part of the game to me is:
A) Questing
Having new maps and guns don't make a game. A game is more defined by the quests. It is the storyline that makes a game memorable (as well as the community, of course).

Used to be a lot higher, but there's not much to do in the game at the moment. =)

6. If I could see one feature added to the game once it was ready for new content, it would be:
E) I agree with the above statements pertaining to an in-game map with quest markers, or at least major landmarks (such as HC, BC, etc.) marked. It can be, no, it IS, very confusing for new players to get around, being throwin into a huge world, with no idea what "HC" or "BC" even stands for. Having an NPC tell you to go hunt something in Death Valley isn't going to help when you don't even know what or where this "Death Valley" is.

Guys, the first thing we need to fix is Load scene failed, Dont you guys think that not being able to play at all is worse than not being able to kill monsters?

while i appreciate your aggressive drive to better the game, i hope you can realize that some of the better ideas come from discussions evolving, rather than a structured ABCDEFG format. if you constrain the development of ideas, you'll never get more than you're asking for, which isnt much. so chill the **** out.

The intention of this was to keep the Useless Jabber to a minimum, New threads can be made by clicking the "New Thread" button at the top of the General Discussion tab, If your having a hard time finding it, ill Make a Screen Shot and make it very obvious to you.

All I'm asking for is for people (if they want) to fill out my short survey, To prove their honest feelings about the game, I implore you to construct your own survey/questionnaire if you feel mine is unsatisfactory in any way.

On a personal note, I'm probably the calmest person you've ever met, nothing really bothers me. However, judging by the attitude your posting with, you have an issue that cannot be resolved on the forums. (Possibly anger?)

just because you say it doesnt mean thats how it should be. good ideas could be slipping through the cracks. theres a word for that, its called "counter intuitive." you can think im angry as much as you want but that doesnt change that fact that youre forcing the conformity of ideas in a forum which, by definition is "a public meeting or assembly for open discussion." cognative expression should not be restricted, especially considering this game needs as much as it can get. i hope you can understand that youre only hurting yourself this way. take the good with the bad. any further conflict between us can be taken up via pm. lets let the people think and be heard.
