Thread: Endless Ages Event Idea's

Events have been Removed from this post.

Other events that have been run in the past (that I can remember):
Scavenger hunts (find me 10 Flob Shells, 3 Stount Tails, etc.)
Aesir events (players vs GM's, with the Aesir character holding unique loot)
Dance parties (this will probably be uninteresting with two of three dance emotes taken out...)

As far as racing goes, there's also SS'd racing, like a Flob Race! =D

A+ On getting some Events Going!

Great events, are ones that get everyone involved regardless of level/experience, and where everyone acts mature and it goes smoothly.

Find the GM, Flob Races, Spawn events, Low level Scavenger Hunts, Are all classics and get low levels involved, which also teaches them the community and how things go down around here.

For the Higher level People, PVP, Players vs GM's, Long Distance Races / Scavenger Hunts.

Some New events that i have idea's for:

1. Trivia - HARD questions about In-Game and History of EA. (facts only)
2. Hide and Seek - Everyone SS into Flob/other except for Seeker (to prevent hiding) Then the seeker shoots and kills the hiders. Best Time to find all wins, also Best Hider gets a prize. (area's for this would be like 15/14 currently) (Also, would have to trust players not to clip/cheat)
3. Diehard/Survivor - Basically 1 Player vs Mob 1on1 Progressively Getting harder all the way to Datro Who ever gets the farthest without dying, wins Basically.

Prizes could include: 15/14 Armor (piece of winners choice), 100-500 Suns (depending on difficulty of event), Rare Jetpacks (from TP) Gope/Skoid/Kid-bat scroll, Ice slayer, 15 Melee Weapon (players choice), Race Orb (VERY hard to win, isnt a garunteed give away, Somthing above and beyond), Unique Gun (arc farion/shockion Somthing not in-game really). Prizes can range for new players.

When is the first Event??

Don't forget the different types of PvP tournaments in addition to the FFA, as well as melee PvP tournaments.

The PvP tournaments were always the ones I enjoyed the most.

hell no. no find the gm hell no last time i did that was when i was on Turahk in AK and i found the gm alright but he killed me moved off like it never happened so no to the finding the gms im not trusting that part from what happened in those times

um i know all gms are a pain in the ass only with me i know that since pre reborn

I really like the survivor event idea. I don't remember anything like that ever happening

Well all i would like you all to know that i too have a few events in mind to help keep people interested in the game while we work on the improvements. As i finally got some time off i can work more on those ideas as well as the other things that i am working on to help breathe more life in to the game that we all love. so keep the faith! We will be bringing you good things!

Also as far as the in-game trivia is concerned as i have said in the past to others i am working on adding to the story line as well. So that event might be better if we waited a bit, until we can get the appropriate things in the game to expand and perhaps make it a little fairer on those newer players that haven't had time to come to know the storyline like us old timers.

Hmm maybe a Pk event where fights are lined up in brackets tournament style

oh oh oh i rember that.........worked out well........so long as we can keep things peaceful......probly could split that into 3 different types

I agree Majin, We might hold off Triva until some of the other quests are finished. And gold, That event would be the pvp style Tourny event. What I have in mind for that at the moment is, When I get to the events, post the bracket on the forums, and as people get knocked off and some people win, I would update the bracket on the forums so everyone can look.

I like that Gd.The anything goes round sounds like a pretty good idea. Any more comments?

I have an idea.
How about an event that occurs once a month and continues through the game.
A Dev hides a chest or something that once looted will disappear forever and will have to be manually placed by a Dev again. The chest will give out a token or something that will be used to purchase an item from a special shop set up.
It will mainly be in IIA or another place of choosing determined and posted what zone by the Dev who has placed it. No zones that can be hard for a noob to get to. yes no? just an idea I thought would be cool. They do something like that on holidays in a town near me and I thought it could be used as something to do when people get bored

What would we call it?

Lost and Found? idk be creative, your the GM lol
What about...Datro's Shed? make the item datro related and mix it up every time?

Maybe spawn some chests and give random keys to players and you have to figure out what chest goes with your key - with a twist - the key is droppable

........but then if it gets into the hands of someone under 12 then theres no hope of geting it back.......ninja's are everywhere........what was that.....

Ok as i was extremly stoned last nite i came up with an idea, make an event ubt like tie it to the EA story somehow, like idk spawn a superfrog named crom and like an AP army with him that like invade the BC's then like do the same with BL's at ap maybe with humans like have cain and his army attack trendor, and like ya i didnt completly think it throughseeing as i passed out but ya add to it if you wish

That would be soooo fun!! nice thinking torn.

that does sound fun there torn man that would be explosive adding those in and seeing all the bodies on the grounds
