When springtime hits and all that white stuff melts I'm gonna pack up my gear and just go hang in the forest for a couple weeks. I been stuck in this cave for months now and it's making me crazy. If I was bear I could just sleep through it all, but since I'm a fragile white boy I need BOOZE to get me through the winter.

I've been snowed in since last Thursday.

Ugh, we're due another 8 inches of snow between tonight and tomorrow evening. The apartment below me has been vacant for the last three weeks and there is no heat in there, it's making my place a lot colder and forcing me to turn the heat up to keep the chill off. I'm so sick of wearing thermals and three layers of clothes.

On the plus side the city has got caught up with all the plowing, so at least traveling isn't such a pain. Starting Christmas Eve we had blizzards for a few days, 12 + inches and drifts of 10 feet or more, and they were having to use front loaders and dump trucks to get the snow off the main roads. We have these huge mountains of snow like 20 feet high in parking lots and fields where they had to pile it up. By the time they got around to the backstreets and neighborhoods like mine the snow had become so hard packed the plows wouldn't work and we had to just deal with it.

I get all my K-rations from Delks Army Surplus. The snow has cleared up here but I'm sorry to hear about that blizzard ace.

I can't really complain much. I know we have members who live in much colder regions where it's the norm to have several feet of snow on the ground. Impact, oogie, Nichole, Alexis, Serrene and some others live up in the higher altitdudes of Colorado. Then we have a bunch of folks in the Scandinavian areas who have it far worse than I could ever imagine.

I'm just biotching about the weather because I'm an old fart :P

I can say one thing about the snow. Finland. Oh the agony
