Ok, I have been playing Anarchy for acouple years now and have almost beat it. After reading the New ammo types! forum I thought about anarchy and what they have for their weapons.
for 1 of their weapon's you can go to this specific field and kill mobs to have it drop, So basically the same EA has for armor, camping and waiting for the armor/gun to drop.
BUT! you could implant either a really hard quest or a really rare drop or like a Tradeskilling process after you find a item of a drop or something along that for a item. In anarchy it is called Bio material, and what it does is you tradeskill it into converted Bio material then you have to have a maxed out character combine the weapon with the "bio material". This would keep the requirments to equip the gun the same, but it would upgrade the damage a bit and add a attack, kinda like what sinacle wanted. And it could add a attack, like if it was melee it would be "Fast attack" or somethin. if it were a gun it would do "Burst" where it would shoot 2-3 shots at once really quick.
This could add a hole new aspect to the game, as it would make lowbies stronger if they took the time to get it and would stand a chance aginst maxed out characters instead of getting owned in a blink of a eye. and it would make High level chars work to get the best eq, but if you added this you would HAVE TO make it very hard to get the piece of equipment.
