Thread: Started Watching Blood+ on Netflix

Man what a great anime series. I had not had the chance to see it before but its streaming on netflix now.

There are only a handfull of series that i think are truly great. The kind that just leave you with that WoW feeling after every episode and you stay up till 2AM on a work day because you cant stop watching it. This is one of those. I have watched 15 episodes since last night at 11pm. hehe.

I liked Neo Ranga also. I dont really get into the Anime series that span years and years and are main stream. though i have watched them. I admit i do have a soft spot in my heart for Inuyasha. And i lived in Japan while Dragon Ball Z was still unknown to the west. The rest of them don't do much for me. (Samurai X is cool forgot that one)

I have probably watched 30 complete anime series over the years.

Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom did that to me. You'd probably enjoy that one.

EDIT: Assuming you don't mind subs. Too few animes are dubbed (poorly at that) in english.

The Big O was always my favorite but s-CRY-ed was good to.

I'm not much into anime but I thoroughly enjoyed berserk and neon genesis evangalion(or something like that)

any recommendations for someone that likes those?

I didn't say I think it's retarded, that's the title of the video. This is the video and music section after all What I said is I don't really like it and don't see the attraction. I also don't like teevee much. About the only thing I ever watch is Front Line or some other good shows on PBS. Although I will admit to watching King of the Hill if I happen to be up when it comes on here at 11:30 at night. Now that is a retarded show, but it does make me laugh.

doin't you think you may have WAY too much free time and have a little unhealthy addiction to watching what is essentially cartoons.......hell the few ones ive seen (yes i do get bored at night and flip through the channels) really sucked.......all are either weirdly drawn ( as in heads twice the size of there gut) or are set into so far fetched a plot that even me with my might aspergers mind can grasp............hell when i think hard about something close to the insanity of those shows was the OCanada shorts that adult swim used to play what........10+ years ago

No. I don't. That isn't even a comprehensive list.

You need to consider that people in general spend a lot of time on their hobbies, anime is one of my hobbies. If you consider this is the product of over 10 years of watching, it isn't so amazing. I archive a lot of stuff, and keep it forever. A lot of people borrow anime from me, and I typically have a lot available. That list I posted is not all the anime I have had, its nearly 1tb of content because a lot of it is 720p or 1080p.

You will find the anime has genres just like anything else, if you go searching you will probably find something interesting unless your sole purpose is to try to hate it. Just a hobby man, no weirder than the movie buffs who take cinema so seriously. It has a very rich community of artists, and people who bring anime to those who want to watch. A lot of original content is out there to be found in the form of music because of anime. Animations, you don't need to look further than newgrounds to see anime inspired ideas there.

The creators of Bleach need to realize that the middle of a fight isn't the proper place to go off into totally unrelated fillers that don't even make sense with anything stated beforehand.

I didn't -miss- them, they're just not worth it in anime form. I'll stick to manga for those. One Piece is superior to both anyway.

eh...........was a little out of it when i was righting so i wasn't seeing all veiws............was assuming that you had amassed that much over the corse of say last year alone.........and to me 1tb isn't a laughing matter.......i run an ol pos tank of a machine......that i just had to replace the hard drive for a few months back.........i switched out an 120 gb for a 250gb.........so excuse me for geting a little outa touch for u just holding on to random.........collections who's total is 4x my entire hd........

and as and as for the different genres i understand that and im only speaking for the few that i have seen..........mostly the adult swim crap and the stuff they show on scifi on mondays

and for the record my............distest for this stuff is surpassed only for my hatred of that naruto bulls.............
